Water Rate Adjustment

The Selectboard of the Town of Charlestown, NH, acting in their capacity as Water & Sewer Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 6:30 P.M. in the Silsby Library Community Room, 26 Railroad Street Charlestown, NH to hear public comment on a proposed revision of the Town’s Water Rate Schedule.  Copies of the proposed new rate schedule are available for public review at the Office of the Selectboard during regular business hours or on the Town’s website at www.charlestown-nh.gov.  Any and all persons wishing to be heard on this matter are invited to attend the hearing and make their opinions known.  Written comments may be submitted to the Office of the Selectboard, 233 Main Street, PO Box 385, Charlestown, NH 03603 or to jessica@charlestown-nh.gov

As Chair of the Charlestown Board, due to the COVID-19/Coronavirus crisis and in accordance with Governor Sununu’s Emergency Order #12 pursuant to Executive Order 2020-04, this Board is authorized to meet electronically. 

Please note that there is a physical location to observe and listen contemporaneously to the meeting, which is in the Community Room at 26 Railroad Street, Charlestown, NH

a) Providing public access to the meeting by telephone, with additional access possibilities by video or other electronic means;

b) Providing public notice of the necessary information for accessing the meeting;

            We previously gave notice to the public of how to access the meeting using Zoom, and instructions are provided on the Town of Charlestown’s website at:www.charlestown-nh.gov.

c) Providing a mechanism for the public to alert the public body during the meeting if there are problems with access;

d) Adjourning the meeting if the public is unable to access the meeting.

            In the event the public is unable to access the meeting, we will adjourn the meeting and have it rescheduled at that time.
