Memorial Day Parade

Charlestown Memorial VFW Post 8497 is happy to announce that Memorial Day parades and ceremonies are planned to be held on Monday, May 30. The North Charlestown parade will start at 8:00 from the North Charlestown Community School and advance to Ox Brook Bridge where a brief ceremony will be held to honor our Naval dead. We will then proceed to Hope Hill Cemetery where we will conduct ceremonies honoring all those who died in Military service to our country.
The Downtown parade starts at 10:00 from Olcott Lane, beside the middle school. The parade will advance north to Sullivan St and then reverse direction and return to the Town Monuments where ceremonies will be held.
