(603) 826-5535 Treatment Plant (603) 826-5387 TOWN OF CHARLESTOWN, NH WATER CONSERVATION ADVISORY The Charlestown Selectboard acting in their capacity as the Town’s Water Commissioners wish to advise all municipal water users that, with the recent spell of extremely hot, dry weather, the Town’s aquifer levels are approaching critical levels. All water users are strongly encouraged to restrict unnecessary water use until further notice. This includes watering lawns, washing cars and other non-essential outdoor water use. Water users’ cooperation at this critical time will help to ensure that more restrictive, mandatory conservation measures will not be required.
